Rosehill Waters - alive with activity and fun
There’s heaps of space in Rosehill Waters for community festivals, events, community gardens and farmers’ markets.
A proposed village shopping centre overlooking the Helena River foreshore will include a village green based around the property’s original old gardens, widely used and loved by the community over many years.
Equally popular are Rosehill Waters’ historical buildings, Rosehill Lodge and The Stables. These were long used as community facilities and will remain an attractive feature of the new village.
Walkers and cyclists will find plenty of paths to take them to the village centre, and the homestead’s original carriageway will be re-opened as an ‘easy link’ pathway to Helena River foreshore and into Guildford town centre.
A bus route through Rosehill Waters will be a convenient connection to the main shopping centre at Midland, and the metro rail line service to the city.
On Natures Doorstep
Step outside and picnic, play or stroll alongside picturesque natural watercourses flowing through the site. These lovely living streams - a habitat and a source of water for flora, birds and fauna - will be a scenic feature everyone can enjoy.
Mature trees will find a home in familiar landscaping. Existing vegetation is being used as a natural buffer to West Parade, to the foreshore reserve and between neighbouring suburbs. Complemented by native planting, again, there’s a ready supply of food sources and habitat for birds and fauna.
